Looking to start a career in a hands-on, outdoor industry? We are looking for a motivated and reliable Junior Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team in Hauppauge. No prior experience is necessary—if you have a great attitude and a strong work ethic, we will provide all the training you need to become a pro.

What You Will Learn

As a Junior Technician, you will work alongside our senior staff to learn the ropes of the pool industry, including:

  • Pool Cleaning Basics: Master the art of skimming, vacuuming, and brushing to keep pools crystal clear.
  • Water Testing: Learn how to test chemical levels and understand how pH and chlorine work together to keep water safe.
  • Equipment Operations: Get hands-on experience with pool pumps, filters, and valves.
  • Seasonal Prep: Assist with opening pools in the spring and winterizing them in the fall.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and ready to work:

  • Reliability: You must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
  • Transportation: You must have a reliable personal vehicle to travel to and from job sites in the Hauppauge/Smithtown area.
  • Physical Stamina: This is an active job. You should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in the summer heat.
  • Communication: A friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with our customers.
  • Mindset: A “can-do” attitude and a willingness to follow safety protocols and instructions.
